Volunteer Youth Participation Panel (VYPP)
This panel has the scope for an unlimited number of members and targets young people aged 13 – 29 who are interested in Active Citizenship and who want to get involved in activities and projects that improve the world they live in.
The VYPP is open to young people through the EU and associated countries and offers opportunities to participate in project applications / teams that are identified and initially designed by the CAIM Empowers Volunteer Youth Advocacy in Action Team – VYAAT (see separate page). Project ideas can be presented by the VPP to the VYAAT for consideration, and once the VYAAT has selected project ideas, the VYPP members can join the project team and become more involved with the project idea development, working with Shannika Greene, CAIM Empowers Youth Program Development Manager, to bring project ideas to funding application stage.
The purpose of the VYPP is to offer young people structured opportunities to make a difference in their world via participation in co-produced projects. The goal of the VYPP is to ensure young people are seen and heard in the decisions that impact their present and future. To participate as changemakers and equal citizens.
