Strategic Plan

CAIM Empowers was originally set up to deliver training, coaching and support for young neurodivergent people and the people who support them. However we quickly realised that there were so many ways we could make a difference in the lives of young people, especially those with fewer opportunities.

We currently are focused on growing the impact of CAIMEmpowers in the lives of young people and communities, working with young people, focused on the Co-design and Co-production of positive solutions to the many problems in the world right now.

CaIM Empowers have been very privileged to have the opportunity to support and empower young people through various EU funding opportunities and we aim to build on this success each year and to involve more and more young people in active citizenship in their communities and to grow engagement in participatory democracy amongst young people, especially among those with fewer opportunities who are so often marginalised.

By the end of the decade CAIMEmpowers aims to have at least 100 young people leading projects that those young people have defined and designed themselves and for over 1000 young people to have actively participated in this those projects.

As a child the CAIM Empowers Director of Services, Faye Hayden love to watch displays of dominos falling to display amazing pictures, that is how she sees the work of CAIM Empowers, creating a domino effect to reveal the amazing young people in the world
